Summer means sales (and not just at Saks). We’re seeing a lot of great deals for discounted airfares that we wanted to share with our members. See details below—if you can’t find what you’re looking for, get in touch with one of our agents.

Fly the Best For Less

Emirates Airways—the top airline in the world, according to TripAdvisor—will fly you from New York to Athens for only $599 round-trip or Milan for just $649 round-trip. Even better are the business-class fares: $2,829 for Athens or $2,929 for Milan—in case you want to have an in-flight martini with Jennifer Aniston. The sale, which also includes great fares to Dubai and Mumbai, officially ends on June 22, but we should be able to get Skylark members similar fares beyond that date.

Upgrades to Asia

Singapore Airlines is offering free one-cabin upgrades on a bunch of its flights, including JFK to Frankfurt and Singapore; LAX to Tokyo, Seoul and Singapore; and San Francisco to Singapore. So book in economy, fly premium economy (which gets you priority check-in and comfier seats), or book in premium economy and get bumped up to business class. Free upgrades from business to first are just on the JFK flights. We can only book these flights offline, so reach out if you’re interested.

Long Haul For a Lot Less

On Air New Zealand, flights from the U.S. to New Zealand and Australia are as much as 28% off, in both premium economy and business. These fares are only valid through September 30, so if you’re thinking about doing a long-haul trip this summer and want more legroom for less money, pounce. They’re also discounting their LAX-London flights by a similar amount.

God Bless American

American Airlines is also handing out free upgrades on certain flights to Europe—book full-fare coach and get moved up to business. The offer applies on American flights and its partners British Airways, Finnair and Iberia. It’s only on specific routes, based on availability:

You won’t see the AA deals on Skylark.com, but our agents can book them for members, so drop us a line!
